•  6,500 sf of custom finish ACM open joint rain screen panel systems by Armetco                Systems

•  5,500 sf of custom finish Centria single skin metal panel system at the penthouse area

•  Automatic sliding entrance systems by Assa Abloy (Besam)

•  1,000 sf of interior storefronts at fitness center and offices by Kawneer

PROJECT: 14-story, 219-room hotel, which brings the European-inspired AC Hotels by Marriott brand to DC’s central business district. Located on the site of the former Smith & Wollensky restaurant near the popular Dupont Circle neighborhood, the hotel’s post-tension design includes a curtainwall façade with architectural precast concrete, masonry, metal panels, and punched windows. Amenities are slated to include a first-floor lounge and dining area with high ceilings, a second-floor fitness center, hydration stations on every floor, and a penthouse with two meeting spaces and outdoor seating.
